Chapter 42 - Black Diamond

“The first time wasn’t good enough?” Ben asks. I shake my head. “No, it wasn’t.” I reply. “I don’t like to be on the run from someone. And we weren’t a couple back then. I have the feeling I can finally enjoy you now.”

“Silly crazy Miss Wildflower.” Ben laughs. “Come on let’s dance.”

I pull back. “I don’t think we are allowed to dance too. They look like professional dancers to me.”
But Ben pulls me out of the booth and places his hand on my hip, holding my other hand up high. “Tango.” He says and I laugh.
“I can’t do the tango.” I grin.

“Me neither, but who cares? Details are for suckers remember.” Ben laughs. “Just look angry and take some steps.”

I do what he tells me to do. I look angry and I step back and forth, moving my head to the left and right. Just like I see the people on the dance floor do. We are making complete fools of ourselves but I am enjoying myself so much, that I don’t care how we look.

I can’t keep my straight face and I start giggling.
A new song starts and the people on stage start to stomp their feet and clap their hands quickly.
“I can do this too.” I laugh at Ben and start stomping with my feet on the hard wood floor.
I stomp, I clap and try to twirl around at the same time.

I trip and I fall on my butt with a loud bang. For a moment I am confused but than I start laughing.

“Second time your butt is on Barcelona ground.” Ben laughs. I reach up to him but he is laughing too hard to help me back on my feet. “Dude, help me.” I pout. But that makes him laugh even more.

I get back up on my feet and nudge his shoulder. “Asshole.” I say with a huge smile.

I look around and there are people looking at us. Some angry, some with a smile. There is a great amount of attention towards us and I blush.

“Can I have this dance?” One of the dancers comes up to me and offers me his hand. I don’t have to think about this and I take his hand.
“I will teach you what Tango is all about.” He whispers in my ear.

There is a weird feeling in my tummy when he does that. I only had that feeling before when Ben and I were kissing.

“Me llamo Miguel.” He whispers to me. His mouth is almost glued to my ear and my tummy tingles. “Me llamo Lynn.” I reply with a slightly trembling voice. “Nice to meet you Lynn. Let’s dance.”

He grabs my waist and pulls me close against him. “Slow, quick, quick, slow.” Miguel is telling me what to do. It takes me ten minutes to figure out the steps and Miguel and I take over the dance floor. His body pressed against mine. Our hips touching with every step and it makes me horny.

I feel very confident in Miguels’ arms when he twirls me around the dance floor like I am a professional dancer.

I don’t have the feeling I am done yet when the song ends, but a quick Flamenco song is taking over the dance floor and other dancers are dancing around us.

Miguel gives me a soft kiss on my cheek. “Gracias Señorita.” He whispers to me. “De nada.” I reply. I walk back to Ben with legs that feel like jello.
I look up at Ben. His face is dark. “You enjoyed yourself up there?” He asks with clenched teeth. “Yes, I did. I thought you would be okay with that.” I say. “I now know how to dance the Tango, and I can teach you next time. “

“Thanks, but no thanks.” Ben replies.

I get angry. “Why are you acting like that? I am not your property, I can dance with any other Miguel if I want to.” I say.

“You enjoyed yourself way too much with that guy. There was no way you could be closer together than that with your clothes on.” Ben snaps.

“What? I would NEVER cheat on you. NEVER.” I am looking up at him, my voice filled with anger.

“Yes, that dancing turned me on and yes, I felt the butterflies. But I never had the intention to do anything with any of the dancers besides dancing. I saved it all for you, in the bedroom, on the creaking bed.” I say.

Ben glares at me and crashes his lips on mine. “You. Me. Hotel. Now.” He mumbles while kissing me hard. He grabs my butt and pulls me against him. “Hmm ok.” I mumble and bite his lip.

We walk back to the hotel so quickly that it seems like we’re running.

Ben shuts the door behind us and he grabs me for a deep and passionate kiss. Trying to unbutton my jeans, while I am fiddling with his jeans.

“I think we should fight more often if it results in sex like this.” I say while blowing out the smoke of my cigarette. The moonlight lights up Bens’ face and I see his smile. I hold the cigarette in front of his mouth and he inhales deeply. “Well, at least the bed was not creaking.” Ben grins.

“Only because we did not make it to the bedroom.” I laugh.

I shiver. “It’s damn cold in February.” I laugh.

“Maybe you should have put on more clothes than only my shirt.” Ben laughs. He is wearing his sweatpants and a sweater.
I look down at my bare legs and feet and shiver again.

“Smoking on the terrace with hardly any clothes on. In the middle of February is not the brightest idea.” I giggle.

I shiver again. “You should go inside miss.” Ben says before bending over and throwing me over his shoulder. “You will freeze out here.”

He carries me inside and throws me on the bed. “Get some sleep. We have a long day tomorrow.”
Ben pulls off his sweater and pants and crawls under the blankets. I crawl next to him and tangle my legs with his.
“WOAH.” Ben shouts and moves away from me. “What?” I ask with a angelic smile. “You went outside with bare feet.” Bens teeth chatter.

I giggle. “And now I need you to warm my feet again.” I move my feet back his way and he moves backwards a bit more. “Go away with those cold feet woman.” He says and backs away a bit more.

A loud thud and Ben is on the floor. “You can’t back away any more.” I giggle. “Now get your ass back in the bed and help me warm my feet.” I laugh.

Ben gets up off the floor and jumps back in the bed.

-creaking-

“Stop jumping man. The bed is not made for that movement.” I say. Ben plops down and crawls next to me again. I roll over and rest my back against his chest. His arms strongly wrap around me, pulling me close to his chest. I place my feet against his legs and I start to warm up a bit.

“Do you think we need to talk about tonight?” I ask Ben. Ben groans. “Why? Isn’t it solved now?”
I think about it for a while.

“No, I don’t know why you were so mad at me.” I say.

“I wasn’t mad.” He replies.

“Jealous then?” I ask.

“Maybe. Maybe not.” Ben replies vaguely. “But it’s all okay now.” He assures me.

“Well, I can understand why it’s all good now. But I can’t understand why you were jealous. I would never betray you.” I say honestly.

“I believe you, now will you shut up and go to sleep?” Ben mumbles.

I bend my head a little to press a kiss on his forearm that is under my head.
His arm is still around me and I tangle my fingers with his.

I drift away in a dreamless sleep.
